Atchison Hospital’s Swing Bed program acts as a bridge for patients who are not quite ready to return home even after their intensive acute care has ended. We provide 24-hour, skilled-nursing care, therapy services, and patient-centered activities to help patients regain their independence, return home, and get back to their normal day-to-day activities. This program is for patients who have been hospitalized at Atchison Hospital or at other facilities outside the Atchison area.
