About Remember Me Tree

For more than twenty years, Atchison Hospital’s Home Health and Hospice has hosted a Remember Me Tree Lighting Ceremony to honor our loved ones. This year’s Tree Lighting ceremony is on Sunday, November 18th at 6 p.m. in the Atchison Hospital’s Main Lobby.

The ceremony includes Holiday music, the reading of loved one’s names, a benediction, and refreshments.

Community members and employees have the opportunity to purchase an ornament to decorate the Remember Me Tree, which remains on display in the Atchison Hospital lobby throughout the holidays. Each ornament has the handwritten name of the loved one being remembered on it along with this year’s date. After the holidays each the ornament is then given to the family members.

Atchison Hospital Home Health and Hospice send holiday blessings to our community and a special thanks to those that help support the Remember Me Tree Program.
